After our wonderful Advent gathering on Saturday, so many of you asked me for the recipe for our mulled wine. That makes me very happy! That's why today I'm sharing my personal mulled wine recipe with you. As with so many delicious things, there is, of course, no single, one true recipe. And that's a good thing! My recipe is an old one from my time in Germany. Every year the mulled wine tastes a little different – sometimes it's one more clove or cardamom pod, sometimes the orange is sweeter or sourer – but it will certainly always be delicious with this recipe!
If you unfortunately couldn't be there on Saturday, you can simply try it out at home. Make yourself comfortable: Prepare the mulled wine according to my recipe and enjoy it nice and hot by candlelight and with a few biscuits.
For the truly authentic feeling, sit outside in the dark when it's nice and cold. 😉That way, the mulled wine not only warms your soul, but also your hands wonderfully!
Have fun trying it out and have a lovely Advent season!
