My name is Andraina Rockstroh, and I have been a passionate teacher of German as a foreign language for over 15 years. With a degree in pedagogy from the University of Cologne and solid training as a German teacher at the Goethe-Institut, I have taught in various educational institutions: schools, such as the Oak House British School in Barcelona, language academies, and the prestigious ESADE University.
I founded and led the German playgroup, die Spielgruppe, for children growing up in a bilingual environment (Deutsch+) for four years within the Arbreda educational project. Thanks to this varied experience, I have developed a deep understanding of different learning needs.

My linguistic diversity, my strength
In addition to my native German, I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan. This multilingual ability not only helps me understand you better but also allows me to use linguistic comparisons and contrastive explanations to clarify complex German structures.
Science supports that linguistic comparisons can be especially effective when learning a foreign language. According to studies on contrastive linguistics, consciously comparing languages facilitates the learning process by highlighting similarities and differences. This will help you avoid common mistakes and develop a deeper understanding of German. My own experience learning multiple languages allows me to apply this approach effectively and practically.
